In an Australian media first, Honda has installed a series of massive 'hybrid' billboards that are illuminated by solar power and backed up by 'green' energy electric (hence the somewhat misleading 'hybrid' title), for its new Honda Accord Euro. In cooperation with outdoor advertising specialists, APN Outdoor, Honda has installed the solar panels on several of its Accord billboards around the country. "Honda's well-earned reputation for minimising its environmental impact made this opportunity very attractive," said Honda Australia Marketing Manager, John Pranger.
