Look #2 in our collaboration with Hatch Boutique, showcasing WA Designers as interpreted for Spring Summer by Perth bloggers.
A white day dress to carry you through lunch, to a function, or become a dressed down beachy look.
This simple, elegant dress from Jonte caught my eye with its graphic stipes and beaded detailing.
Jonte's new collection, shown last week at PFF, incorporates graphic patterns with monochrome, leather and crepe. The collection features so many great pieces which, being of a neutral pallet, can be worked into the wardrobe, giving you more than one reason to wear.
Living out of my one suitcase rations, I am very drawn to pieces which can provide longevity. I really do not mind rewearing a piece- and tend to avoid statement pieces that only get one wear, those things just take up room in my closet/ suitcase or storage. The trick is to wear these pieces in a different way, or around a different crowd of people.
This Jonte dress could be re-accesorised with black or tan sandals for a more relaxed beachy look, or with a strappy heel to add interest. I would pair this with a light-weight white blazer, rather than a heavier wool or leather coat. I like white on white and would only really add colour with a bright orange or red lip. It also comes in black- if you are after a good LBD.

These Edenborough Evans moldable silver cuffs add that extra something to create a more glamorous feel to this look. Here I wore two of them, but can easily imagine rocking one on an everyday basis.
