It is THAT time of year again… Christmas, parties, fun times and the stress of gift buying.
Presents can be weird and uncomfortable (in my opinion) most of the time, but they do not have to be. If you are buying gifts, here are my picks for men, women and the home. I have had a look for decent items that people will use, love and be grateful for. I am NOT a fan of giving or receiving gifts that you know you will never use, I hate that someone bought them, spent time thinking about or even thought you may like them. So my plan is to stick to the following categories…

For Her:

Beauty
Perfume (a small bottle of a really good Parfum, preferably a classic scent that will not date/ be too strong. My personal fave's are by Chanel, Tom FordNarciso Rodriguez, and Gucci)
Hand Cream (I love the Kora Organics Daily Hand Cream- on sale packaged with the foot balm here
Body Wash/ Body Lotion (again Kora Organics are packaging these on sale here)
Soy Candles (I am loving the Ecoya Caramelised Plum Pudding, Woodwick Biscotti -these crackle like a fire-) perfect for your days at home.

Accessories
Michael Kors Watch (simple, elegant, mannish and versatile)
Leather Coin Purse (these things are super handy, anyone carrying a clutch needs a heap of coin purse options to carry cards, cash, keys, lip balm, hair pins etc. I love this star one by Comme Des Garcons)
Leather Converse (a staple, to be worn until they fall apart- this one also works for guys)
Ancient Greek Sandals (the perfect metallic leather summer shoes)
Equipment silk shirts (number one on my wish list! soft, breezy, versatile and beautiful)
Sunglasses Vision Direct sent me a link to their Christmas Gift Guide which comprehensively covers perfect options for men, women and children. With a HUGE range of amazing brands, there are a heap of styles to choose from for all personalities. Check it out here. I personally love the reflective Ray-Bans and Celine classics.

For The Home

The Little Black Jacket coffee table book photographed by Karl Lagerfeld, Styled by Carine Roitfeld
A Succulent plant (cause they are cool and you don't need to water)
Flowers (when in doubt, go with a good bunch of all the same stems)

For Him

Clothing
A basic cotton tee (unprinted pictured is by Acne)
Ksubi denim jeans (in gray cause they go with everything and fading isn't a problem)
A fun printed jumper or tee (this sloth pope is amazing from Shelfies)

Skincare/ Fragrance
Accessories
Woven Leather Belt (Pictured is by Ben Sherman)
Sunglasses (again via Vision Direct who have a huge range of cool styles for any man)
A good pair of suede boots (Never go astray, cool and practical)

Finally as I am in the market for a car… this (below) is on top of my wish list (in life). Damn it if I can not find myself a nice big old black pick up truck in WA. :( In the mean time I will dream about the day I find myself a 70s GMC Roper. Le sigh.
