Eileen Fisher is celebrating 30 years in business this year and last week I got to join the party. The New York team were over in London launching two new, autumn collections as part of the brand's anniversary. For The Icons collection Eileen Fisher has delved into the archives and recreated six beautiful basics: the box top, the coat, the cardigan, the dress, the tank and the maxi. This gorgeous, minimal range is right up my alley. The other slightly bolder collection (kind of classics with a twist) is called The Fisher Project and has been designed to sit alongside main Eileen Fisher range and add a bit of oomph to all those wardrobe favourites.

And just a quick update: I've made a start on The Book, being a New Lady Author is much, much harder than I imagined. I'm making very slow progress but don't tell my editor.
