Flaming Nora, I really like this pimped-up Birkenstock-style sandal from Isabel Marant. Two reasons: the first is that obviously I'm a big Birki fan and hope that they remain in Style Forever. The second is because the fancy flame detailing reminds me of watching drag car racing on telly, when I was a kid (I have two brothers). Of all the seventies influences around this season - beautiful suede, flared denim jeans, bohemian maxi dresses - customized-hot-rod-inspired comfy shoes caught my eye.
