Happy Remembrance Day everyone!
I wanted to take a second to express how grateful I am for all the men and women who fought and defended our beautiful country, as well as for those who are still fighting, defending and preserving the many freedoms we get to enjoy in 2016.
This day is very important, as it marks the date and time when armies stopped fighting World War I on November 11th, at 11 AM, back in 1918 (the eleventh hour, of the eleventh day, of the eleventh month). Some 100,000 Canadian soldiers died in the First and Second World Wars; to those men and women, along with those who are currently serving at home and abroad, thank you for everything that you do. You are true heroes !
