Friday 28th July
When it comes to Indian at Melbourne Central apart from Little Indian in the food court, there's Chilli Indian in the indoor laneway past Kikki K that's always buzzing with students, workers and a lot of Indians (always a good sign) looking for a quick and cheap eat. All the mains are $15 and under.
At 6pm on a Friday night it was packed! Of course you could order takeaway or wait for a table. They were small and not so great though, the indoor ones. There's also seating in the corridor/laneway, refer to the last picture.
I've never had dosa before, a thin pancake with filling. Chicken and veg. Didn't really like it, though it was spiced it wasn't too hot, but there was too much onion.. I want to try a different filling next time. Maybe cheese and mushroom?
It was severed with three dips including a light hummus like one. *not sure what the others are*
