Fashion may seem like a daunting industry to break into, but a very good place to start is in college. Some of the most prominent figures in the industry were once exactly where you are now, trying to make an informed decision about where to study.
From location to tuition to resources, there are a lot of factors to consider and compare — and not as much guidance available as there is for more "traditional" fields of study. That's why, since 2010, we've put together rankings of the best fashion schools culled from data and our own extensive surveys. This year, we'll be releasing two lists: This one encompasses the 10 best fashion schools stateside, and next month we'll have a longer list of encompassing international universities as well.
