Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of flying to SAN FRANCISCO to make a "Special Appearance" and give my "How I Got To Where I Got" Lecture at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising FIDM San Francisco Campus. As an FIDM Grad and Spokesperson, it is always a joy to talk about my early love of sketching and fashion and how FIDM was the PERFECT PLACE for me to help me achieve my dreams in the fashion world!

Throughout the year, all four of the FIDM campuses--Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and San Francisco--hold their "Open Houses", a chance for high school (and post graduate) students (as well their parents) to check out the campuses, meet instructors, alumni, see student's work, and get to meet successful FIDM graduates--like myself!
Ready for FIDM San Francisco Open House!--My mom sent a "Care Package" recently (LOVE HER!) and in it was this fab bow tie, rosette lapel pin AND pocket hankie!
