Tonight Ols and I are headed to our friends' engagement do' and this little getup has got me in a party mood. Iris & Ink is getting a good round on The Elgin Avenue this week - and with reason. The SS14 collection is rocking it - remember I warned you it would.

Notes On Styling: this is a formal skirt which if worn with a blouse and blazer could easily work for the office. As I wanted to dress it up for the evening I added a cropped breton and my single sole heels. My hair and I were not on good terms this day and so I pulled it all to one side in a messy braid. Whilst this solved my disagreement I am having serious hair envy over Amber Fillerup Clark's Rapunzel braid. That girl gives good hair and beauty. Constantly.
For those of you nifty with the scissors, you could try your hand at one of my favourite bloggers Geneva's DIY Balenciaga ruffle skirt. I'm curious to see what it would look like with a pop of colour! Let me know if any of you guys have already tried this one out.
