Below are their some of her Fall 2015 Runway Trend inspirations: Cracked Ice and Apres-Ski with their  print backgrounds.

   CRACKED ICE

Textured prints take a turn for the lighter side in this nature-driven trend. Some examples resemble cracked ice, some look more like striations found in marble, others even take on the swirling formations found in radar images of weather systems. What they all have in common are their intricate, organic details and simple, limited color palette.
The example we used in our background was made with watercolor paints, but manipulating photographs of tree bark or experimenting with paints designed for a crackle effect would be great places to start when you’re ready to make your own Cracked Ice print.

   APRES-SKI

Baby, it’s cold outside. And several fashion designers must be predicting next Fall will be no different, because the colorful ski-style Fair Isle sweater is making a come back. Chevron stripes combined with clean, geometric elements in bright, youthful color combinations make this a great trend to start with when designing your A/W 2016 print collection.

S/S 2016 PRINT AND FLORAL PATTERNS - DITSY TO BOLD

The Trendstop experts have compiled the most inspirational best-selling prints for the upcoming Spring/Summer season. Discover how leading designers are utilizing new prints in our S/S 2016 Print & Embellishment Forecast. Here, an excerpt, are two must-have floral print styles for Spring/Summer 2016: Bold & Beautiful Florals and Ditsy Prairie Florals.

    BOLD & BEAUTIFUL FLORALS

A playful attitude emerges for spring, as florals are amplified with a big, bold intensity to catch the eye with vibrant colors and oversized proportions. This trend adds a striking statement to womenswear styles.

On the catwalks, House of Holland showcases a modern take on a retro floral print with stark black outlines, while clean white bases lend a fresh touch to Victoria Beckham’s abstracted pink blooms. Blown-up placements can also be used, as seen with combinations of painterly petals and sheer knit at Missoni or vivid color pop bases on a Marni bag.

    DITY PRAIRIE FLORALS

Ditsy florals inspire notions of the springtime prairie, on show in delicate repeat patterns. Classic flower motifs take on a modern freshness when applied to clean white bases.

Miu Miu applies the delicate print to a chic ivory-based summer suiting ensemble, as feminine prairie dresses incorporate classic repeats at Christian Dior. Meanwhile, contemporary interpretations appear at Prada in the form of sports blocked socks for contrast, with MM6 Maison Martin Margiela adding texture to a soft pastel pattern with the use of lightweight quilting.

    CAT LADY

Some might say that every print tells a story. While that might make an adequate metaphor in most cases, this particular trend displays a more literal interpretation. We found a noteworthy number of typographic prints parading down the runway in the Spring 2015 shows. This can be a tricky trend to tackle as every typeface and recognizable word will conjure a different feeling in your audience – much more so than a paisley or floral element. Our advice is to either distort your overall design just enough to prevent your written words from being fully discernible, or pick a simple word or short phrase to repeat that you think will be universally likable.

    FRUIT SALAD

There is no way to wrap up our review of Spring 2015 runway print trends without first serving up a healthy dose of fruit salad. This tasty trend has been around for some time now, and with all the examples found in recent runway collections, we predict it will remain on the menu for a good while longer. Keep your prints from feeling stale by combining your fruity conversationals with other trends like abstract textures, geometric elements or the Matisse collage look.
