The Final Live Style Off!!!

Alright kids, THIS IS IT: The Final Live Style Off of "Project Style" at South Bay Galleria is THIS SATURDAY!!! Many, many budding stylistas/trendsetters from the Southern California area have been submitting videos of themselves in a fantastic outfit they styled on their very own; many voted for the Top Five and now is the Final Live Style Off. Project Style is a great contest organized by Forest City Malls across the country.

The ever-so-fabulous Style Network's Jeannie Mai and I are this year's Project Style Spokespersons and for this Saturday's Live Style Off, we will BOTH be there as the Hosts With The Mosts! We will not only host but also be judges (SO EXCITED!!). This is my THIRD YEAR hosting "Project Style" at South Bay Galleria and I am BEYOND thrilled to be coming back! Every year it gets bigger and better--and the crowds are always AMAZING!

Come out to South Bay Galleria, located in Redondo Beach (only about 24 miles from Los Angeles!) and see the five stylista finalists vie for the title of TOP TRENDSETTER--we'll give them Mall Gift Cards to go shopping for an hour, they will buy an outfit, wear it and then show it off on the Center Court of the South Bay Galleria and we will judge who will win the Top Trendsetter Award PLUS a $1,000 Mall Gift Card!

Summer Style Tips for Summer 2012 c/o ME!!!

 Nick Verreos, Fashion Designer, Red Carpet Expert and "Project Style" Fashion Guru and Judge

As Fashion Guru, Judge and Host of the Project Style 2012, Shoptopia asked me a few questions about what I thought were this Summer's must-have's and trends...and well, I told them!!!

So, Fashionista Ladies, if you are getting ready for Summer 2012--in terms of fashion and how to "give style", then here are my suggestions:

 1) Flapper Gal: 

It's all about that "Flapper Gal"-silhouette--inspired by the Gucci dress above. Think: loose, off-the-body tunic shape.



2) Life Aquatic:

Inspired by the iconic Alexander McQueen Spring 2010 Collection, look for aquatic prints--anything watercolor, "Ocean Graphics", like seashells and corals under the sea. Imagine looking at the sea through your goggles and seeing all that under-the-water vegetation---similar to my NIKOLAKI silk chiffon gown here:

3) Mini or Maxi...or High-Low:

It's all about the extreme and the most popular choices are Maxi or Mini
dresses. If you want to combine BOTH, then get a "high-low"
