Vogue Japan April 2015

You know how I was literally just like "Ah, this CR Fashion Book cover is the best thing on the Internet!?" Well, this tops it, guys. I love Barbie. I've loved Barbie forever. Of course, I went through my "I'm too cool for Barbie, bleh" phase, but nostalgia is a bitch. I mean, I may or may not have a Barbie phone case right now. Anyway... Rosie Huntington Whiteley poses as a real life Barbie in Vogue Japan's April issue. In case you couldn't tell by my rant above, I'm kind of incredibly and ridiculously obsessed with it. Styled by Anna Dello Russo, I seriously can't stop staring. I wonder if my landlord would let me paint all my walls Barbie pink. I should ask him, he's quite reasonable. Plus, Barbie. Duh.

This is my favorite shot. SO PERFECT.

The kneepads really got me. Ha ha ha.

CR Fashion Book Issue 6

This is my favorite thing on the Internet/newsstands this week. The cover of CR Fashion Book's Issue 6 is the best thing ever. Model, Kitty Hayes, graces the cover and (while the hair in her choker bugs me tremendously) I can't help but gush over her braces. Her big smile kills me, I absolutely love it. I adore it. I wish this existed back when I had braces in elementary/middle school. (Forever grateful my Mom had me get it over with before high school. I had enough problems to deal with. Ha.)

V Magazine Spring 2015

Let me start this off by saying that I love Selena Gomez like, well, like a love song, you might say. (I'm not sorry for that because A. That's a horribly great song. B. That was funny. To me, at least.) But her new V Magazine cover makes me somewhat uncomfortable. Maybe it's her charming and adorable baby face and the fact that it, and the body connected to it, want nothing more than to be seen as an adult. Or maybe it's because I feel like she's my friend or sister and I feel like I accidentally walked in on her at a bad time. Or maybe it's just all those things. She's adorable and I love her, but I'm so sick of topless shots just because. Save that for the one that loves you like a love song back, Selena. This time, that person's not me.
