WHAT: Chanel Spring/Summer 2018. For Spring/Summer 2018, Karl Lagerfeld turned his runway into a waterfall/vegetation-filled stage with models in plastic capelets that looked a bit Costa Rican rain-forest (it was supposed to be the South of France) and a bit 1960's Space-age Courreges-meets-Paco Rabanne...but in Chanel.

Sensual Sculpture That Celebrates The Beauty of Women

Luo Li Rong is wildly attracted to the style and techniques from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. 

And her sculptures, etched with vivid details, stand as the proof of it.

However the Chinese artist was not introduced to this era in the very beginning.

At Beijing's Academy of Fine Arts, it was Wang Du who took her under her wing and helped her to be molded as a sculptor skilled to incorporate realism in her compositions.

Ever since the European style caught Rong's eye, she has been creating life-size sculptures of women. She is inspired by the beauty of women.

She loves to depict women in a spontaneous moment

As you can her stunning sculptures exhibit movement, beauty and a remarkable "life like" quality. Truly incredible.
