Six Shows, 6 Artists - LOTS of Winter Street Fashion - Sydney Style.

Has it been cold in Sydney? Hell yeah! Of course depending on your exact GPS location and perhaps depending on your Inner Warmth.. you may or may-not be feeling the cold. Of course in Sydney, a closed door to your storefront even on the coldest day is tantamount to confessing you are not there/closed, have gone outofbusiness.. so its all about an open door policy; so rug up or be one of those people who can wear sandals in all weather conditions (examples (plural) below). All these shows are on NOW but if you want to catch Julie Williams at Barometer gallery you need to go this Sunday as its part of the Art Here quick turnaround 7 shows 7 weeks thingamejig. So here's to staying warm in shops and galleries with open Winter doors, and here's your/my weeks art round-up along with the fashion too! There's 30 pictures, and although it's been suggested I make the whole picture thing look too easy and should show less.. practice helps - ink and paper!!! So Gutenberg - whatever - so here they are, I hope you enjoy and do check out the shows! Mouse over pictures for details, links below.

Well, say hello to my lovely non-muscular-upper-arms! Somehow, that small tone that i ever had in my life, got lost! And i am a pretty sporty-person, while i`m doing my daily exercise like mouse clicking, TV watching, Ice cream eating, cake baking, lazing by the river etc ... You can`t say that i`m not doing my best! Okay, that`s was the story that hides behind my non existing muscles, so let`s talk about the outfit now! ;)
I got this beautiful nude dress from the Queen`s wardrobe last week, and i couldn`t wait to show you! You know that feeling when you have a nice dress, but no occasion to wear it in the near future? Then something clicks in your head, and you realize that you are running a fashion blog and you don`t need an excuse for wearing something?! Or we would be asking a lot, where the hell all these bloggers go in that silly clothes! ;) I choose Zara black&beige shoes with retro heels, simple skinny belt and leopard clutch to spice it a little bit. Nude make up, lightly picked up hair and that˙s it! Perfect for a party/dinner/wedding/reception ...

This weekend we will celebrate my sister`s 15th b-day, so see you on Monday! ;)

Kate Middleton Skipped the All-Black Dress Code at the BAFTAs, and Some People Are Upset

All eyes were on Kate Middleton as she marked her arrival at the 2018 BAFTA Awards on the red carpet. The pregnant royal managed to find a solution to her most recent fashion conundrum: To wear black to this year's event, or not.

Both choices carried consequences, which made her decision even more meaningful. If she wore black, the royal would show her support for the Time's Up movement, along with actresses, like Margot Robbie and Octavia Spencer. However, the color choice would break royal rules, as it can often be seen as a political statement. Slipping on a bold shade would be risky, too.

After much speculation of what she would do, Middleton followed protocol, and opted for a forest green Jenny Packham gown. The dress's dark hue was a happy medium between the two principles: It was deep enough that it didn't feel out of place in a sea of black, and it respected the monarchy's long-standing policy.
