Gucci Launches Eccentric Resort 2018 Collection

As a fashion house with high artistic value, Gucci collection design always comes with detail, embroidery, ornaments, and rich in texture. Alessandro Michele, Creative Director Gucci always succeeded in presenting the values in tune with the collection and runway place.

Call it a collection of Gucci Resort 2018, Alessandro deliberately chose the Pitti Palace, Florence, Italy that represents the beauty of the Renaissance. Of course this is in line with the theme that carried the fashion brand. In addition, Alessandro deliberately designed benches decorated with poems by Bacchus 'Song by Lorenzo de' Medici to increase his artistic value.

Reported by Vogue, this fashion show is also backed by a harp music game that is in seven different rooms. This installation is in harmony with the nuanced collection of flora and fauna that characterize the Renaissance era. Print roses that look natural not only found in dress and female tops, but also for men.

The touch of the Renaissance was increasingly felt with a headdress in the form of gold leaf with a very thick with the history of that period. Even some models use accessories on the hands and faces to make it look artistic.

Meanwhile WWD released, singer Fransesco Bianconi also walked on the runway using a tapestry suit combined with red roses. In addition to flowers, long-haired man is also decorated Gucci collection with a dragon motif on the front of the clothing.

Fransesco also appeared eccentric with jogging pants, ruffle tops and bright burgundy matelassé mantles. He also did not hesitate mengumbar Gucci logo on midi skirt, men's trousers, bomber jacket, and fur.

Despite spending 200,000 euros in renting Pitti Palace, Gucci successfully brings his brand back to his hometown as well as cultural roots in Florence. Gucci also plans to donate 2 million euros within three years in order to restore the Boboli park as part of the 'Primavera di Boboli' cultural project. This fashion show was also attended by Sir Elton John, Beth Ditto, Kirsten Dunst, Dev Hynes, Dakota Johnson, and Soko. (Aulia DH)

SPEND-LESS SHOES SS17 LAUNCH

"I collect Vogue, Shoes and compliments"

With the upcoming Adelaide Fashion Festival and exclusive VOGUE Weekend, fashion is on the mind. And when you're galavanting at these social fashion events one thing I've had to learn is graciously accepting compliments in a world where we're taught to negate sincere adorations.

But more important than Vogue or compliments are... shoes.

At last count I had 37 pairs of shoes and that was a solid 6 months ago (send help). And Spend-Less Shoes isn't doing anything to help me with my (very normal) personal selection of footwear.

Spend-Less Shoes have officially launched their Spring/Summer 17 collection in conjunction with Party With Lenzo and BeYoung PR. The new range of shoes incorporates styles for your next cocktail night near the beach, Spring Racing Carnivals and extra fashionable Friday nights.

The evening was hosted at Adelaide's newest devoted event space, Chateau Apollo, where Cassie Young invited the foremost Influencers for a fashion shoot challenge! Which blogger would take out the Spend-Less shoe style crown? The brands that contributed to the nights success include Modern Party, Aeon Collective, Little Big Balloon Co, Pickawall, Studio Botanic, Hello Kit Co, Red Hen Gin, Entourage Events and Food by Annabel.

With a boutique 'shoe bar', bloggers were able to try-on multiple styles available in the SS17 to style with pieces available from Couture+Love+Madness to show themselves and their audiences how versatile and modern Spend-Less's new collection is.

Of course my extra self had to frock on with my House of Zhivago sequin dress, paired with the rose gold 'Evie' heel ($49.99) set in NYC (on the bucket list) to pose for the shot below.... that won me tickets to the Paolo Sebastian AFF Runway! <3

The event was one of the most well-thought out and memorable experiences I've ever had the pleasure of attending. A big BIG thank you so Spend-Less Shoes for creating an amazing, affordable and fashionable range of shoes for every girl to wear and Cassie from BeYoung PR for orchestrating such an amazing Influencer event.

RUNWAY REPORT.....Paris Fashion Week: VALENTINO Spring 2018

WHAT: Valentino Spring/Summer 2018. Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli brought GLAMOUR and fabulous fashion back to the runways. Tired of "disposable fashion"? Athleisure? Too many t-shirts and jeans? If you have all the money in the world (and perhaps $5,000 to spend on a gorgeously-made plastic "Moto" jacket with silver paillettes?), then look no further than Valentino's latest Spring/Summer 2018 offering.

 Valentino Spring/Summer 2018

INSPIRATION: Piccioli decided to "make the ordinary extraordinary" by creating very "utilitarian "sportswear"-influenced pieces such as a racer-back (and front!) tank, trench coat, cargo pants, tank dress...the aforementioned moto jacket...into some of the most beautiful, effortless and elegantly feminine clothes.

Plastic (and sequined!) Moto Trench: Valentino Spring/Summer 2018

Les Volants: Valentino Spring/Summer 2018 ruffle detail

Paillete Tanks: Valentino Spring/Summer 2018 sequined dress details

COLORS: Pinks, chartreuse, bone, apple green, black, "Valentino Red" (of course!), spring flower prints.

WHO WORE WHAT?.....2017 Primetime Emmy Awards: Tessa Thompson in Rosie Assoulin

Tessa Thompson in Rosie Assoulin Resort 2018

HBO's Westworld star Tessa Thompson wore this colorful gown from Brooklyn-born NYC-based designer Rosie Assoulin and her Resort 2018 collection. The halter-style fan-pleated dress was definitely something "different" and "unexpected" for a big awards show red carpet, especially one such as the 2017 Primetime Emmy Awards. This style I would expect more at Cannes, for example but definitely NOT the Emmys. For that, I applaud her! I love when actresses take chances and especially good ones. I am sure there may be some "fashion naysayers" out there---I can hear them right now saying "Oh my God Nick, this dress looks like she's in the cast of 'Joseph and  the Technicolor Dreamcoat"! ...

Tessa Thompson in Rosie Assoulin Resort 2018

Well kids, I liked it! I though she looked modern, very "fashion forward" and it didn't bore me to tears (like many recent red carpet awards show gowns I have seen!).

Loved all those pieces on the top...as well as her slicked back hairstyle.

So...tell me what you guys thought? Was Tessa a Fashion Red Carpet YES? Or...a Cast member from "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat"? let me know!
