PEKO BY RODEA: HIS AND HER OUTFIT

Peko by Rodea? Haven’t heard of them yet? Well, they’re just a rebranded, legendary shoes brand which I grew up with. I remember vividly going to the Peko store together with my mom and getting all excited about trying on and buying a pair of shoes.

I also remember that back then, Peko shops staff were the best, the most kindest, knowledgable and helpful ladies which always made me feel like “I matter” and that I’m not just a kid getting a pair of whatever shoes but that I’m a little human worthy of a nice, comfortable and well made pair of shoes.

As I’ve been living in Finland for the past 11 years, I haven’t been that much going to Peko and in the meanwhile it had changed the name into Peko by Rodea. I was bit confused by the name change and wanted to check out the shops and see if it’s still the same Peko as I remembered it or if it’s a completely new company.

THE WEDDING SEASON IS COMING.

Hi lovely people!
We may be still deep in Winter, but Spring will come very soon and so will the wedding/party time. Most weddings usually take place during Spring/Summer so it's great to already think about what you might wear if you are invited to a wedding or especially if you're getting married yourself! Organizing a wedding is a very long and expensive process, but not everyone wants to spend thousands of dollars on a wedding dress or a bridesmaid dress. If you are just going to wear this dress once in your life, you might as well save some money, but still get a wonderful dress.

I recently stumbled upon this online shop called AW Bridal and I was amazed by how many gorgeous special occasion dresses they have and how cheap they are! They offer AW wedding dresses, AW bridesmaid dresses UK, personalized gifts, accessories, etc. The whole website is really well made and full of pretty colors; I find it very easy to navigate and use. Whether you're looking for a classic Carl Bateau bridesmaid dress or something a bit edgier, I'm sure you can find the right choice for yourself on AW Bridal. It's unbelievable how much money you can save if you take a bit of time and browse through this site! If you check it out, you will see that organizing a wedding or attending one doesn't need to break the bank.

If you're like me and absolutely love tiaras, you might want to check out AW Bridal tiara choices because there are so many pretty options; and they are all so affordable! Who wouldn't want a cute tiara under $10?! AW Bridal is also a great option if you want to buy something for your loved ones and personalize it. Bridesmaid robes, bottle openers and cake knives are just some of the items you can get personalized. Such a fun idea! Personalized gifts always show a bit of extra effort you made for another person.

Italian Street Style Photos To Inspire Your Wardrobe

Now that everyone’s likely gotten rid of the pieces in their wardrobe that don’t spark joy, it seems like the perfect time to give your closet a little refresher. And there’s no better place to look for inspiration than Italy.

People have long turned to the streets of Italy for style inspiration. The European country has been a player in the fashion industry for centuries, with cities like Venice, Florence and Rome producing textiles, shoes and jewelry as far back as the 1100s. Italy entered the ready-to-wear market by the 1950s, and as The Metropolitan Museum notes, “thrived on late-century global overconsumption.”

Of course, Italy is also home to Milan, one of the world’s fashion capitals, and luxury labels like Valentino, Missoni, Versace, Prada, Pucci, Moschino and Miu Miu, to name a few. Season after season, people from all over the world flock to Italy for fashion shows and events, filling the streets with their own unique styles.

Below, we’ve compiled a collection of standout street style photos from Italy to give you a little inspiration for your next shopping trip:

Half updo bun

Grab the top part of the hair with your hands and separate it from the bottom half.

Secure the top half with a hair tie. Keep it tight.
Tease the tail of the pony for the bun.
Twist the tail around the pony once and secure it with bobby pins.
Brush the other half of hair to free it from tangles.
You may braid a small part of the remaining hair, and tie it around the bun or leave it loose.
Spritz some hairspray to keep the look clean.

Space buns

Space buns are the cutest teenage hairstyle and the most eye-catchy among all tie-ups.

Part your hair into two sections and make ponytails.
Brush your ponytails properly and start twisting them like a coil.
Once done, secure the coil like a bun with bobby pins.
Do the same on both sides and you have your quirky chic space buns.

Messy side braid

Whether your teen is heading to high school or a casual gathering, a messy side braid is always the right teenage hairstyle for school.

Divide your hair into two with a deep side part.
Divide these two sections into four more parts.
Start with a segment of hair from the far side and cross under the next layer and then over the third and then fourth and braid it till the end.
Tie the end with an elastic band.
Now tug some sections of hair with your fingers to create the messy look.
Tug the hair all over the crown to have a gorgeous messy braid.

Twist through ponytail

Tie your hair in a low ponytail and secure it with a hair elastic.
Go a few inches down, tie another elastic and pull the hair through the second elastic.

Tie the third elastic in the same way and pull the hair through.
Apply some hairspray to remove the flyaways if any.
