Elevated. This is the word that not only my manager abuses, but is perfect to describe what Amy Smilovic has done to Tibi's Fall13 collection. Boxy neoprene sweatshirts, turtleneck dickeys {giggle like an 8 year old boy}, pony-hair pullovers, and long leather shorts were the functional pieces that graced the runway this season. Not to mention the thigh high leather boots that brought sexy back to utilitarian sportswear. I was lucky enough to head backstage before the show, chat with Amy, and sport an incredible suit from her resort collection. Can't wait to work with the adorable ladies behind Tibi more soon.
