The 37 looks of the Versace Pre Fall 2016 collection have been revealed. Their design takes clear inspiration from the triumphal Spring Summer 2016 Ready To Wear collection, which has been re-elaborated with a minimalistic sport approach. The prevailing garment is the tailored jacket, often worn with a signature belt and high waisted trousers. The sleek construction lines and the monochromatic blocks of color (mainly black, ink blue and bottle green) bring an urban and powerful attitude to the collection, while a feminine touch is provided by the soft pleats of the skirts, the floral embellishments and the use of lilac on a few pieces. I can see models fighting for the lilac mini dress with the matching collar necklace. Once again: well done, Donatella!
