6 Ways to Give Your Home the Gucci Look

In an ode to Gucci's Autumn/Winter 2016 collection that was presented earlier today in Milan, officially kicking off Milan Fashion Week among other great names in Fashion, and because, well, I am also re-doing my entire home for like, the eleventh time this decade(!), I wanted to bring to you something of a totally new genre. New kind of content (home, that is!), but also a new way to experience and appreciate Fashion from a more artistic than tendentious point of view.

It should no longer be a surprise to anyone, if I had to take sides in the highly colourful history of Gucci's head of creative direction, Alessandro Michele's Gucci proposition would be my first pick, and by far ! Replacing Tom Ford's sex pot with dorky eccentric; Giannini's studied heritage with boho-dissemblance; and Gucci himself's endless glamour with bookish ingenuity, has been a huge turnout for the Casa di Moda, not to mentioned a much needed alternative to face the declining craze of the Fashion fraternity for the brand. Nicely balanced subcultural references, gloriously unusual colours, patterns and materials, and mismatching accessories bring us to a new era of informed luxury that has a significant historical, cultural and artistic depth. Just have a look at the brand's visual campaign and pre-Autumn/Winter 2016 lookbook, and you'll want to completely renovate your pad's interior too, with a gorgeously esoteric new genre. Here's my edit of the best Gucci references for your home...
