Givenchy Beauty and Matrix Canada teamed up to bring to life beauty trends that rocked the runway in more ways than one during Fashion Preview Spring 2017!
Whilst the traditional no makeup makeup and woke-up-like-this hair were present across the board during the presentations, the beauty trends that did make their mark were even bolder than ever. Glowing skin, pops of colour and indesicive hair-do's shined on as the models showed off the upcoming Spring fashion trends imagined and brought to life by our favourite local designers last week.

The top-knot half down hairstyle is the sort of magical hairstyle achieved from indecision: hair up or hair down? It is a sea-swept do, natural and uneven, that comes across like you've actually done something with your hair, even if you haven't washed it in three days.

Wait, were those pink high points? Yes, your eyes weren't deceiving you - and they came in blue, lilac and gold. The effect was artsy yet, striking on the eyes, and while we saw every color of the rainbow on the runways this season, for Spring 2017, it’s all about one bold element on clean skin.

Designers wanted everything to have a glow this season, from juicy lips, to glossy lids, to highlighted cheeks to wet hair. The swimming pool hair trend is making a splash (pun intended!) next Spring and somehow will work really with sexier outfits. It's nice, tough and strong.

Colour was very much present on the catwalks this season if you looked for it, just not where you might have expected it. Over at DUY lips were painted acid-bright peach for an ultra-fresh result that remained strong and feminine. A beauty look worthy of Givenchy.
