LABELS Style Markets

The LABELS Style Market has been running for nearly two years... and how much can happen in two years? One of my very first blog posts was on the LABELS Style Market back in August of 2015. Let that sink in, two-thousand and fifteen.

And since the early days of the market where I would sell my pre-loved fashions (those of which I still have way too many of), the market has evolved and grown into a flourishing online community and physical market-place that celebrates and encourages local designers and businesses.

The leader behind this seemingly non-stopping force is Katelyn Ellery, who created the Style Market after identifying a gap in quality fashion markets that cater to embracing local South Australian businesses. Katelyn is consistently motivated to promote Adelaide's unstoppable fashion industry, and is one to keep an eye on during her career.

The LABELS Style Market have found their home at Plant 4 Bowden after some soul searching at The Hotel Richmond and The Highway Hotel. Boasting an impressive 60+ stallholders over two levels, the market offers clothes, jewellery, food, art, homewares and more.

The crowning glory of the markets is the runway showcase. The glamorous front row was packed with VIP fashion bloggers, stylists and creative figures with DLSRs and Insta-Stories in hand. Teaming up with brands like Glamourhouse Australia, Diamond Models and Promotions and The Style Capsule, the runway was as interesting as it was fabulous. Check out my shots from the runway below!
