ictoria’s Secret model Kelly Gale says it took a week to get the glitter off after the runway
Chatting to Victoria’s Secret model Kelly Gale after she flew from Shanghai to Sydney to attend Swarovski’s spring/summer ’18 collection launch, it had been almost a week since she’d walked the VS runway. While she let us in on all the backstage secrets from year’s VS show, she also revealed that she still hadn’t managed to get the glitter and bronzer off since the runway.
“I was looking at my stomach yesterday and I still have glitter all over my stomach from the show.”
“I still don’t think it’s off,” she adds.
Gale said she’s not one to wear a lot of sparkle in her day-to-day life (except “these beautiful earrings,” she says, gesturing to her ears which are adorned with a Swarovski creation), she says she does wear a small amount of jewellery and loves mixing rose gold, yellow gold and silver.
Overall, she said this year’s Victoria’s Secret show was “super fun.”
“I have done one in New York, one in London, one in Paris and then this one was in Shanghai and all of them have been amazing in different ways.”
“It was my first time in China, in Shanghai. The fans there are incredible. It was crazy how many people love the brand and love us. It was very nice.”
