Emmys Red Carpet: The beautiful Padma Lakshmi of Bravo's "Top Chef" wore an orange colored Mermaid-shaped gown by Monique Lhuillier. I think she looked gorgeous. I love the color, the fit was fabulous. Padma doesn't always get it right on the Red Carpet, so this was a nice surprise, I only wish she would have added a architectual cuff bracelet or some statement making earrings. Just my "Nick Two Cents"...what do you guys think?

Emmys Red Carpet: Julianne Moore in Dior Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2013 from the debut collection of new House Designer Raf Simons. This collection was APPLAUDED and given RAVE REVIEWS by all the editors, reviewers, fashionistas alike. I loved it. But...I'm just not sure if I would have chosen this particular gown for her. I give her points for wearing Dior Haute Couture and from Raf Simons' first collection...yet, I just don't know if the bright neon color (a BIG trend!) and the completely covered design, worked for her. Not to mention the top portion is Cashmere...in 100 Degree heat! It's kind of a "Miss" for me.  What are YOUR thoughts???

Emmys Red Carpet: Three Words: Va Va Voom. La Sofia Vergara vamped it up (as usual!) on the red carpet in a completely sequined siren gown from Lebanese fashion designer Zuhair Murad featuring peek-a-boo's in the front and back as well. It fit her to a "T"! And PS: she looks TINY!!!! Yes, she looks like a Former Miss Universe in this gown, but when you look that good...work it!!  Que piensan? (that's Spanish for "What do you think?").

Emmys Red Carpet: Leave it to Nicole Kidman to wear something that was JUST shown on the runways--Hot off the London Runway (the show was only 6 days ago!), is this Antonio Berardi Spring 2013 ivory crepe bateau neckline gown with blue sequined embellishment. On the runway, the look came with a matching cropped jacket (which I think looks soooo chic!)--I kind of wished she would have worn it with the jacket but I get it: I think it's like 105 degrees out there! Do you guys like with--or without--the jacket? Let me know.

Emmys Red Carpet: Ginnifer Goodwin was RADIANT in this orange/coral gown from LA-based designer Monique Lhuillier Resort 2013 in a HIGH-LOW shape (a big TREND at the Emmys Red Carpet) featuring applique over nude-colored organza, a high bateau neck and leather waist accent. Love the COLOR, love the statement she is making in this. Very good job Ginnifer!!!

This gown--if one were to purchase it--would put you back about $40,000-$50,000 since it's Haute Couture and therefore Made-to-Order. Julianna got it for free. Lucky her! I think she looked regal and so elegant. Love the side pockets too! What do you guys think? Love the floral...or not so mucheey?

That's now the SECOND J Mendel Resort 2013 gown at the Emmys Red Carpet. Their PR team is working overtime!! Good for them. I like the color on this one more than Emily VanCamp's... and there's that slit. I think it's officially an Emmys Red Carpet TREND. What do you guys think, of the gown, the color and the slit?
